Want to see mountain gorillas in the wild? Join me on my next adventure as I venture deep into Uganda’s impenetrable forest in search of these magnificent endangered animals.
Pick up from Entebbe International Airport and transfer to hotel for a night.
On arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by our tour guide/driver and transferred to the hotel at Santa Maria Guest House or Lake Victoria Country home for the first night, 10 minutes from the airport. If all flight’s time aligns, we’ll go out for dinner that night for the opportunity for everyone to get to know each other and be briefed on the trip the next day.
Check-in is from 10:00 am (Ugandan time).
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Early in the morning, we will embark on our journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park going
through amazing sceneries and landscapes. It will take us roughly 5 hours before we reach
Kasese for our first night at Simba Safari Camp (Bed & Breakfast).

Queen Elizabeth National Park homes the highest biodiversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world. Located
on the floor of the Albertine Rift Valley south-west of Kasese, its vegetation comprises of Savannah,
acacia, euphorbia trees, and large papyrus swamps. Over 100 mammal species and 500
bird species make this territory their home. The Maramagambo forest homes a large selection of monkeys and birds with flamingos on the crater lakes while the Ishasha region is home for the tree climbing lions.
The morning Game drive provides an excellent opportunity to see lions, elephants, leopards, topi and
many other animals. In the afternoon, we will take part in the boat trip on the Mweya Peninsula along the
Kazinga channel where we’ll look for crocodiles, hippos, and birds that inhabit the Shoreline.
We will then head out for a salt lake tour which takes approximately 3 – 4 hours. The tour will take us through the traditional salt lakes where we’ll see how the locals mine salt from the famous Lake Katwe. We will then head to the flamingo crater and the
old salt factory. (Full board – All meals)
Transfer to Bwindi, home of the mountain gorillas.
After breakfast, we will travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through beautiful savannah grasslands. The Kigezi Highlands is commonly known as the “Switzerland of Africa” due to its lush green cover. It will take us approximately 4 hours to reach our camp at Rushaga Gorilla Camp in Bwindi (Half board- Break Fast & Dinner).

After an early breakfast, we will drive off to the information center to prepare for the Gorilla
tracking. Our Ranger guide will do a briefing on the tour and we will be given packed lunch for the adventure. Once the briefing is over, we’ll start out adventure in hopes to see these lovely creatures. We’ll spend time observing the endangered Uganda mountain gorillas. After tracking the gorillas, we will head off to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, considered the loveliest lake in Uganda with 29 islands surrounded by steep terraced hillsides. We’ll spend the night at Arcadia Cottages (Full board).
Transfer back to Entebbe.
After spending time in the land of the famous mountain gorillas, we will start driving back to Entebbe. The journey will take us approximately 8 hours. We’ll spend the night at Santa Maria or Lake Victoria Country Home (Breakfast & Dinner).
On day 7 our adventure will come to end. We will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport after check-out. Depending on your flight time, you may request a late check-out. Please note it involves extra cost.

A 40% down payment is required in order to confirm your spot in this tour. The balance due is required upon arrival and should be paid in American Dollars (USD).
