Gorilla Trekking in Uganda

The fascinating idea to venture deep into the jungle of Eastern Africa in search of the endangered mountain gorilla is — in the mind of many— nothing but something only a National Geographic’s explorer could do. Well, I have great news for you; Uganda has gained popularity in recent years for being a tourist-friendly destination...

Sleeping in a Glass House in the Spanish Desert

I have always been drawn to deserts and when I was giving the opportunity to sleep in a glass house in the middle of the Spanish Desert of Gorafe, I immediately jumped on board. I was mesmerized by the fascinating location and unique accommodation style from the very beginning and I couldn’t resist. The Creators...

TRAVEL GUIDE

Welcome to The World Hopper. This project was spontaneously born 5 years ago while I was cruising the Mekong River on the slow boat from Thailand to Laos. My goal was very clear from the very beginning; create a website with creative and visual travel information and inspiration for other backpackers, in hopes one day it’d turn into a reference page for passionate travelers like me. During the past 4 years, I have relied on several platforms and people to help me build my dream site, only to be let down time after time in every single attempt. I have put my heart, soul, mind and my entire life into this project. So it only made sense to take the wheel myself and start creating what I envisioned 4 years ago on that uncomfortable, but memorable, boat journey in Southeast Asia. Although this current site is far from being what I want The World Hopper to become, I figured it was time to launch a website and start connecting with people. I kindly ask you to please bear with me as I improve the structure and implement new elements to the site. Thank you for being here.

Happy travels my friends!
